Which means four out of five aren’t.


And if I had to guess? You already know which group you’re in.

Maybe it was the Sunday night dread creeping in even though you’re technically “your own boss.” Maybe it was the moment you realized you hadn’t taken a full day off in longer than you can remember. Maybe it was that 11pm client email you answered because somehow it felt easier than the guilt of not answering.


Four out of five women are working inside a business that was supposed to give them freedom... and instead it’s taken over their life. The evenings. The weekends. I know this because I’ve lived it. I started as a licensed cosmetologist. I bought my first house at 19. I taught myself e-commerce through YouTube videos while running an online clothing boutique. I have been the person figuring it out in real time... no roadmap, no safety net, no one telling me what I didn’t know I didn’t know.


I know what it feels like to grind yourself into the ground for something you built with your own bare hands and still feel like it’s never enough. I know the specific loneliness of being the person everyone else depends on, with no one to depend on yourself. I know what it’s like to smile through it and say “I’m good” when someone asks.


And through every chapter of my own story, and through every business I’ve worked inside since, I kept seeing the same pattern. Brilliant women. Real businesses. And an invisible wall between where they were and where they wanted to be.


That wall has a name. It’s called the absence of systems... and the absence of someone who can help you see what you’re too close to see.
